Research
Northeastern is home to twenty-seven interdisciplinary research centers
and institutes. Faculty conduct world-class research in such diverse
pursuits as drug discovery, high-rate nanoscale manufacturing, urban
housing policy, and land mine detection. The University’s commitment to
research is reflected in a recent $75 million investment in new
faculty, centers of research excellence, and enhanced academic
programs.
